Put a washer dryer into my 38 foot Cardinal and one week later the control panel on the washer shorts out and burns down my trlr. Everyone is okay including the cat, but do need to replace the trailer.

Looking at a 2003 KZ New Vision 33.5 fiver, thoughts on this make as I don't know this manufacturer, looking at one tomorrow.

With all the nice clean CG laundry rooms I've sen over the years...and all the tiny useless washer/dryer combos I've seen. I have ALWAYS asked why would someone do it? Now I know WHY I NEVER WILL.
Glad no one was hurt. Hope you learn that some things aint worth it.
Also who did the install??

I find it amazing how rarely people actually answer the question. KZ is a very good company. We would have bought their high end model but it was too heavy. I liked the workmanship, the floorplan and the details

Just in case you missed it. Some of us camp as far away from a "campground" as we can get. It's called "camping out". Note the word "out". It is one step above heading out into the woods with a roll of industrial strength TP or beating your wet clothes on a rock..
And yep, it's worth it. The really quiet nights and the absolutely amazing stars make up for the lack of a laundry-mat. If you gotta have it, you better bring it with you.
Sorry, I kind of went off on a rant there

I can see where a washer and dryer would be nice. I too like to get away from the CG's. I have more than enough clothes to out last our water and holding tanks. So after a week or so we will head into town and dump refill and wash clothes. Get some more supplies and back out we go.

How were you able to determine that the control panel was the cause? I think the KZ would be a step up from the Cardinal. They make a nice unit.
