With all the nice clean CG laundry rooms I've sen over the years...and all the tiny useless washer/dryer combos I've seen. I have ALWAYS asked why would someone do it? Now I know WHY I NEVER WILL.
Glad no one was hurt. Hope you learn that some things aint worth it.
Also who did the install??

As they say "everyone is entitled to their opinion" We have a Splendid washer and dryer in our Cardinal 5er and wouldn't be without them.......sure beats using some filthy public washer, and can't beat the convience of not having to lug your laundry around.

Put a washer dryer into my 38 foot Cardinal and one week later the control panel on the washer shorts out and burns down my trlr. Everyone is okay including the cat, but do need to replace the trailer.

Looking at a 2003 KZ New Vision 33.5 fiver, thoughts on this make as I don't know this manufacturer, looking at one tomorrow.

We have a KZ Escalade and so does my daughter and son-in-law. We all love our KZ's. Always look at others and then come 'home' and say....nope, nothing beats our KZ.

And the service from KZ--you just cannot match it anywhere IMO.

btw when was the fire? where were you when it burnt down? in Milton?

We feel the same about the KZ. Best trailer with the best service. Would not hesitate to purchase another one. We have the Escalade and it is a beautiful trailer.

KZ rigs- Look them up on RV.org for safety and for comfort and build quality.
The thing I can say is that there are not that many dealers out there when you have a problem, I would stay with Cardinal, Sunnybrook, Newmar, that have dealers in every state at least if not two or three or more. Parts and dealer network is very important to me at least.
Washer/dryer problem is not common and we love ours and why wash your clothes in a washer that had someone elses' kid's poopy clothes, or sheets with god knows what on them. One of our reasons to start RVing after seeing our wonderful country at our own pace was so we could sleep in our own bed with our own sheets and no one else having slept in them. GREAT 5 star hotels still get bedbugs that are spread by sheets and unless and infected sheet is boiled it can spread the eggs etc. YUK. so we usually bring enough clothes to hold us for the trip but out for a long time and the washer is utilized with pleasure.

S and S Co-Travelers and along for the ride is Ketzel the wonder cat.

looked at the Kz and was really impressed, but a little too short on length. Were out all day today again, looked at a new Alfa See Ya, really discounted and new, but they are no longer in business.

Campground last night presented us with a little over 800.00, toiletries clothes and more, thats why campers are the best and one of the many reasons we fulltime and stay in this type of enviroment.

There is a ton of used very nice fivers on the market, cheap compared to what they were going for a few years ago. A good deal to be had for sure.

You won't go wrong with the KZ. No RV is perfect but these guys try and they do stand behind the product.

Bought a Jayco Legacy 2004 38 footer today and should have it early next week. My insurance is going be at least 4 weeks before anything gets done.

Jayco and KZ both use Leland Engineering chassis and Dexter axles and wheels. From there up it's the Mrs' choice for the most part. Although a big step down on the scale of things, we've owned two Jayco's and other than the Florida sun and age, they've been virtually trouble free. I think you would have been happy with the quality of the KZ and will be happy with the quality of the Jayco. We're looking at new Eagles and Durangos. Tough decision...
Glad you all made it out of the fire ok. Wife prefers a mid entrance for that reason. I prefer the window myself!
