my cat diesel 350 still has overheating issues after I have changed the thermostats. Is this normal in rear radiator rigs...runs at 220 up hills in hot temps? Looking for some insight from anyone who really knows.

Does it cool down to normal after pulling the hills?

Have you checked the radiator fins.I have gone to alot of overheat problems only to find a clogged radiator. No one thought to check it.Also how old is your unit you may have clogged core tubes.

It does cool down after pulling the hills, but I never encountered this in the first two years of operation. Rig/engine is 4 years old.

In the four years how many times have you cleaned the radiator? Did you add a slobber tube to your engine?

Texas has a good point on the clogging possibilty.
I power wash my eng.compartment and cooling system after every trip, I've had small trash bags to weeds fall out the bottom.

Here is five pages on Slobber tube
Might want to search on cleaning radiator too for the best way to clean without bending the fins.
And seven pages onClean Radiator Lots of info in that little search box at the top of the page.
I would have posted this question under Class A but you've found the solution here anyway.
