Below is a list of closures. The only one that will affect me will be Mammoth Lakes when I visit there. This could very well be the beginning of the end of life, as we know it!!

Well I guess they are still making smart business decisions. I mean they are keeping two of the stores nearest me open, even though they are across the street from each other.

They sound safety oriented, two stores on opposite sides of the street, they don't want people crossing traffic for a cup of coffee.

Whew! So far only one in Tulsa, I guess I better do my part and start stopping by on my way to work more than a couple of times a month.

We have the same situation in our village. One Starbuck is independent building, the other one is across the street and parking lot inside Safeway story. Seems both have enough business.

I remember a Simpsons episode where they were running through a mall and in the background every other store that was flashing by was a Starbucks. I think they have Circle K and 7-11 beat!!

Same here!
One in Barnes and Noble in the mall...another free-standing building on the parking lot....and yet another in the Kroger store a mile away.
None closing.

Ah, it does me good to think that the company that sells the worst cup of coffee I've ever had the misfortune to sip is closing stores.
They have forced so many GOOD coffee shops out of business that seeing them close stores makes me very happy..
There is hope for those of us who like good coffee.. YIPPIE
(Most other companies I'd be sad to see them close but since what Charbucks does to a coffee bean should be a crime.. I'm happy to see 'em "Downsizing")
I have complained to several business that are "Proud to serve Starbucks" that they have NOTHING to be proud of in serving the world's worst coffee.

Buy some premium Hawaiian Kona coffee and grind it yourself each morning and enjoy a great cup of coffee.
