Have you asked them if they had someplace that you could stay in your RV?
Oh yes. They had a few spots but they were limited to 23' and in the process of shutting those spaces down for use.
I also checked with the VA hospital near here and they only allow patients that are in their own hospital to stay in their parking lot.
We have been staying at a private home in Westwood that the local Catholic church owns available specifically for families that have relatives at UCLA.

Now that its out in the open, maybe others may ask and find this is available to them. I do hope they never need it, but as you all know, you never know.(pun intended)
The three places that we have stayed at were all vary nice, large trees, and manicured lawns, with sprinklers that came on at 3 am every morning LOL.
But Ill take my MH, with my Shih-Tzu (small dog) and the hospital door a hundred yards away, to some motel any day.

A bit about beautiful Idaho, every year it seams like, we head north in the fall, maybe its because my DW lived and went to school in Moscow Idaho, about a million years ago. But we do love to make a big loop up north often.
Dllfo, Kaiser Roseville was one of the hospitals I did stay in the parking lot at, my DW was a patent there for almost 3 weeks, for major surgery in 2002.
Yes, Idaho is beautiful, very diverse landscape and lots to see. DH and I have been staying in Idaho for our longer trips and we're always amazed at what we find and the beauty of it.
On the RV park at St. Al's - we've seen big rigs in there (40ft Class A's), fivers and small TT's. St. Al's has a shuttle service so I bet they would even shuttle you back to your RV if needed. Courteous, friendly retirees drive the shuttles. I'll have to take a picture of the RV parking and post it here.

Im surprised with the amount of facilities around the country that do provide this service to there patients family, I believe it can be a big plus.
Four years ago I was hospitalized in Kaiser San Francisco for bypass surgery, and they even provided my DW with a place to park, right in the heart of the city. And security guard escort the half a block to the MH at night.
It wasnt vary scenic, but a big help all the same.

Here are a couple of pictures I said I would post. As you can see there are only 4 sites. This parking lot was remodeled so they took out over half the other sites. Probably due to under use. Whenever I drove by (you can see this are from the interstate) there were only at most 3 - 4 units ever there. Each site has water and electricity and although the person in the photo is parked parallel, there looks to be enough room to back into the hookup if you have long enough lines.
