A place that makes up hydralic hoses can make up propane hoses. The hose is specific for propane. They will use pressed on fittings. Measure the length you need.

Some places will use the fittings I referenced above which are IMHO a much better fitting and are not pressed on.

A agree with going to an actual propane dealer if a correct premade hose is not available off the shelf.

having just had to go through some of this while mounting my generator that I just finished up last night, a couple of things.
The hoses that the propane dealers and Camping world all carry are too small inside diameter for a generator. I know for mine that runs a low pressure system I found a hose for it at Tweedy's . They are a wholesale supplier that supplies rv dealers, they do sell to the public as well. Their number is800-482-5881 . If you have a high pressure system, they should have the hose for that as well. They carry just about everything service parts wise.

Those Parker hoses are probably great quality, but something to keep in mind, if you have a nice rig, new enough to be insured for $$$, you do not want to put a hose on there that is not a factory tested assembly UL listed and all that fun stuff. In the rare event of an accident, your insurance company might decide it's in their best interest to part ways...without paying.

Take off the hose and take it to House Of Hose and they will make one up for you.

Hey Guys, I pulled the hose and attached a picture. It comes right off the Propane tank with NO Regulator. I am not sure if it has the correct hose though. The hose says 1 PSIG.......Shouldnt it be a high pressure hose when it comes off the tank before hitting a regulator? Picture below:

Flex-Tech

The hose you show in the photo is not what I would choose for high pressure hose. If it's not regulated I'm suprised it hasn't blown.

After you stop off for a moment of thanks for surviving this long on that hose ( whew! ) you need to go purchase a properly made high presure hose assembly
Who knows how long you've been running around like that

I came home from work and heard a loud hiss noise. I opened the propane cover and the hose popped off the hose barb. The valve was wide open blowing propane. No regulator, straight feed from the tank!

Lucky it didnt happen while I was driving.

I'm going to the house of hose as suggested buy someone and have a new "high pressure" hose made.

Thanks ALL
