Does anyone make right turns on red lights when towing a folding camper trailer? No if there is intermittent traffic? Yes if it is 2am and nobody else on the road? Never ever?

I follow the same, safe driving procedures whether I'm towing my PUP or my 31' TT or nothing at all.
Right-hand turns on red if legal to do so towing or not.

Like Javaseuf, anytime there's plenty of room and it's legal to do, I'll turn right on red. I'll even turn left on red from a one-way to a one-way when that's allowed.

Interesting question....and one I hadn't thought much about....so I'd have to say that I agree with those above...I do as the law allows....Now, I only tow a utility trailer (still waiting to get the car set up as a TOAD), but YES, I make Rights on Red with a trailer.....and see most people do.

I also drive a School Bus, which isn't allowed to make the turns on red....so I know what it is like to sit at a light....waiting!.....and really appreciate not having to, in my personal vehicles.

definitely as the law allows, but I also try and be courteous about it...some days I need 2 lanes to get the 30 footer around without pulling up onto the sidewalk... especially when I find myself being detoured through some downtown core...

Only when there is enough sight distance to safely make the turn. I never accelerate nearly as fast when towing, so that increases the sight distance factor quite a lot. Patience, just like the professional big rig drivers.
