"I know it's just a another lifestyle that is filled with it's share of ho-hum days like any other. The moon through a Fan-tastic vent is cool. "
Having to wait around until the family situation is settled has caused a number of ho-hum days. Thanx for reminding me that I have missed my nigh walks and seeing the moon in the night sky.
I am getting restless again (or have been restless since April 30th) and feel I want to get away, have been on a coupla weekenders with friends, but keep saying to myself and my hubby .. when are we taking our home elsewhere? And he reminds me that Launch Day is Oct 6th. Even though I know we are here because of family, I still am getting restless to get hubby away from here.
We need to finish up some family business and buy a new vehicle, which is easier done here in Washington where we are residents. But came here today to see how you all were doing. I have not met you, but still have learned the stories behind the names and wanted to say "Thank you" to everyone on this Forum for the postings. Some of our discussions have ended with my hubby saying "is there something on RV.Net about this?".
And we go look. We have learned so much these past 4 years on how to deal with "stuff" as full-timers, some by experience, and most by coming here for answers. Sometimes I have found them on a SEARCH of the forum, but most times by posting questions. Thank you.

RoadXYZ read your tag line and get to dancing
We're stuck in a place we didn't plan on staying waiting on the toad - now it turns out we have to move on before it'll be done, about 120 miles for some business, then come back here for another week to get the toad back. Only a couple bad weeks, but hey if it didn't rain once in awhile you'd never appreciate the sunny days and we've had a lot of those lately
Serena - are we turning this into a PM? Didn't mean to hijack your thread, but it's alway fun to chat with ya. We're going back to Camelot this year - we took the space for the year - but plan is different for next year so we'll keep Enchanted Village in mind for then. The silk does give me an idea - maybe I'll get a little to brighten up the base I made for the kids. That might be kind of neat.

Heck, no, it's not a PM! Not even 'my' thread. Just hangin' out, same as everybody else here. By all means, go right ahead and use it as you please. Sorry to hear about Mellow Yellow - such a cute little thang. Must be all jacked up to take so long. What happened?

Here's the story on Mellow Yellow
It's inconvienent having him laid up, but it is what it is. I checked with the honey, she's ok - looked in the mirror and asked if he was ok - s'ok he said, so it's nothing important just one of the trials and tribulations that come along to remind us how lucky we are
I have the dark MaxAir covers on my vents - can't see the moon through them - now that's important

Dang!
If you line up just right, you can probably see the moon through your skylight?

Very interesting topic, with all right answers/comments. Another would be "When Full Timing Ends", as it must. There are probably as many reasons to end full timing as there are to start. Just a thought.

We just had a thread on that not long ago - do a search for "Exit Strategy" I think that was the topic heading.
Serena - I'll bet that would work but by the time the moon gets up that high I'm usually

Wow.............we gotta lay this one to rest. I only read the fist page of seven and am ready to give my two-cents worth.
DW and I are technically NOT full-timers, although we should be:
1. spend more time during the year either RVing or fixing / cleaning the rig than we do the stick-built
2. DD wants to stay far away as possible (just like when camping)
3. can't keep the wienerdogs out of / away from the RV
4. more food stuff stocked in RV than stick-built
5. look for excuses (work related meetings and trainings) to take RV on the road
6. RV = no mortgage
7. stick-built = mortgage
8. etc.
9. etc.
