I'm wondering...if you notice reduced water flow...because the "Y" adapters I have looked at have a smaller orifice in them...not the full diameter as the hose.

I know that is because of the valve they contain, but I'm wanting to maximize flow.

We use both types, with and without shut-offs. Some with shuts do have very small opening. I have a green one with good size hole in the ball valve. I know it must reduce volume but I don't feel it when in the shower. Rv water lines are what 3/8 OD? small anyway. Good luck!

I've used them. We've used a pair to hook up three units from one spigot, no noticed reduction of flow.

Some of the COE parks we go to, I've seen as many as seven Ys put together to feed eight RVs from one spigot, including some 200-300 foot hose runs.

The opening in my Y is no smaller than the supply tubing in my RV.

That's a valid point that I had not considered...the OD of the MH pipe. Thanks for the help.

You can buy Y's with 3/4" valves in them, no water flow lose. I use them for every thing at home and the TT. they cost about $4 at a north west based store we use, Bi Mart.

Goodyear makes one that is open all the way thru. and has cutoffs on each hose outlet. About $10 at HD. Got one for my garden. Full flow. CharWan
