I've seen truck campers like this, but this is the first trailer I've seen.

I don't know what the advantage would be other than a lower towing profile.

I recall seeing one of those a few years back. A couple more advantages are increased shelf/vertical storage space and quicker setup.

Fits in a garage and has less frontal wind drag, hence, better gas mileage and ability to tow with smaller vehicle.

My friend and I have looked at Two similar trailers this year.
Very nice lots of room for two.

IIRC this one has been up for auction several times without a buyer.
I get a kick out the seller. He puts a $2900 Buy it now price and then answers a question that the reserve is $2500.

A friend of mine has one of these, as a matter of fact i'll be camping with him next weekend, it's nice and has all the luxuries of a TT but it does fold down

When I was working in Australia, I saw lots of campers like that. The tow rigs over there for the most part are smaller and have less H.P. than the normal rig here. I actually saw all kinds of camping rigs there that are not common or available in the U.S.
