Not counting Ebay, where have you had good success ording hardware?

I'm going to need a Hitachi IC25N060ATMR04 hard drive for my Toshiba Stellite A75.
I like Newegg, but they don't sell it. I seen some Etailers, but they have either rediculously low or high prices that run from $49 to $155.

Any sugestions?

I've ordered from many on-line etailers and never had a problem. Too many to list here.

Any reason why it has to be that Hitachi model? You could get a perfectly good model from a different manufacturer as well. For instance, Fry's electronics has a Fujitsu MHV2080AH-R for $60. It's the same 2.5" form factor as the Hitachi, 80G so a little extra storage for you plus its a 5400 rpm drive which will you a little performance boost.

Here's a site Drive Solutions that lets you input your laptop mfr and model and gives you a list of compatible hard drives.

Good luck.

Hi Lorne,

My first Toshiba HDD took a dump and I replaced it with a liquid drive from Seagate. Wow what a difference. The OEM HDD was bad from day one but it sounded like a fan with problems so I never complained during the warranty.

I'm a NewEgg buyer myself. It's hard to beat there part pricing but for complete uints (notebooks), I shop hard and can beat there prices easy (sales).

Are you sure you need that brand of HD? Most HD's are more or less interchangable

Laptops MAY be an exception

Check out Pricewatch I've ordered from vendors associated with them several times with no problems. Check the websites first to make sure that YOU are comfortable with them.

Thanks a heap. I saw so many names that sounded kinda strange while searching and wasn't quite sure. I'll check your list and the Liquid drive sounds kinky.
