I have to admit that I have a real weakness for tech stuff of all types. I just bought myself a really, really cool computer a couple of weeks ago, and yesterday, I got myself one of those Sony PS3's with all the bells and whistles.
The system plays Blu-ray and regular DVD's better than the almost new Blu-ray DVD player, plays CD's better than my CD player, shares all of my existing media over my home network, upgrades itself when it needs to, and did I mention that it has a lot of cool games to play too?
The sales guy at Best Buy asked me about my set up, and put in to be adopted. It would be tempting, but I can't afford to adopt him at the moment, as some of my toys aren't paid for yet.
I got the Rock Band set up to go with it, and Kerene and I had fun with that, but getting booed off the stage a lot is sort of a turn off. I apparently have no sense of rhythm. I rocked out anyway
Anybody else have a similar sort of problem? I am looking to start a support group.

I do. I have two motorcycles a '78 Yamaha big single 500cc thumper, a '67 Matchless 750 Scambler...Desert Sled. Just recently I bought a Pentax K10D DSLR with a couple of lenses and flash.
My wife regards it as the big boy with the penchant for big toys.
I'll join your support group, as long as we just sit around shooting the ----, talking about our 'toys'. No therapy or anything, I don't want to change.

Optics and electronics... love 'em both! Just ordered a couple new Nikkor lenses from B&H and now the anticipation builds.

Compound bow hunting... Bought my first bow January of this year. I've built an 18 yard, 27 yard, & 36 yard range in my "back yard". I'll be ready by October 4, when bow season opens.
Paintball scenario games... I've been doing this for 12 years, and travel around the country for various scenario games. What can I say, I like shooting people... for fun!

Just one?
Guys at the Winter Star Party were raving about how well a pair worked in a binoviewer! Let me know what you think of it. I didn't get a look through one at the WSP, but everyone who did loved it.

How 'bout ole GALS and toys? The guys at work used to tell DH he was lucky because I always wanted handguns and ammo as presents. He told them diamonds might be cheaper! LOL!
Santa always fills my stocking with ammo and gun cleaning kits.
