This may sound silly, but how high is the average TC on the average truck? I'm trying to compare it to a Class C MH. Thanks.

Depends on the height of the camper and the height of the truck. Basement models are taller than non-basement models and some have alot of head room inside and of course there's the a/c unit on the roof. A non-basement models on a 2wd truck should well be under 12'. I think I was about 12' high with my camper on my 4wd F350 with roof a/c.

So, in general, they are higher than a Class C MH. I know they LOOK higher but I wasn't sure. Thanks.

I suspect that it varies quite a bit. My Lance Squire on a 1993 Dodge/Cummins with 2-wheel drive/ plus the AC on the roof, is a fraction of an inch under 10-feet. Four-wheel drive trucks are taller than 2-wheel. Newer trucks seem to be taller than older ones. You guys with the BIG wheels are taller than us standard-wheel guys. ETC, etc, etc.
