Does anyone have any experience with towing a Titanium fifth wheel, and does that fared front end save any fuel? Thank you for your input

It would probably impossible to get a definite answer. What would you compare it to? Even two identical trailers would probably give different numbers because of all of the variables. However, all things being equal anything that reduces the frontal area should in theory improve the MPG. I seriously doubt that it would be enough to make a purchase decision based on it. No matter what we are dragging a heavy billboard through the air.

There is no change in "frontal area"! Drag however may be slightly reduced on the Titanium due to the tapered design, but the results are most likely negligible.....

I had a salesman tell me one time that it would make 3-4 mpg difference. I think that sounds a little inflated.

Not real precise but here's my experience. I traded a 28' Hitchhiker (8000 GVWR) for a 28E33 Titanium (10,000 GVWR). I got about the same MPG after the trade and its a 20% bigger trailer.
