Anyone here own a Kodiak 10x10 Canvas Deluxe 6010 Tent? Wow thats a mouthful. Anyways, we're thinking about picking up a tent that will last us as long as my parents' lasted them (they have an older canvas tent). I also enjoy the idea of canvas after sleeping in theirs many a night.

Since it doesn't look like we'll be getting a popup/htt/tt anytime soon, spending this kinda money doesn't phase me all that much. I just want a good quality tent thats easy to setup/takedown and keeps my family, including my 9 month old son dry. So, any owners? Any owners with pictures of the inside? Not too much information on the web and would like to see what this thing is all about. Thanks again!

While I don't have a Kodiak I have a Springbar tent that the Kodiak appears to copy. My friend also has a Kodiak tent but I think it is a bit larger than 10X10. Both of our tents are stable in winds and haven't had any problems with leaks. If I were in the market for a new tent I would certainly look closely at the Kodiaks.

Hey!! I've got one and love it!!
We are headed to Maryhill State Park on the columbia River this week for 4 nites in the tent. We've had it 2 years and not a problem. It is the most stable and easy to put up tent you can imagine. And dry in rain. You won't believe the HD bottom on these. Its a no brainer. It is heavy, but its quality. there are quite a few pics I've found on the web. mine is actually the 6055, more basic model. No screen door or hanging stuff inside.

Thanks for the reply. We have seen the pictures on the web but were hoping for some more pictures of one setup. Maybe if we purchase one we'll have to make a video on how to put it up. Or at least take some pictures of the inside. Where did you purchase yours? Cabela's has them listed on their website though they don't list a specific model. They do state it comes with the stuff the deluxe models do.

I purchased mine on ebay from the dealer in Utah. There are some posted there now. I know sportsmans Warehouse also carries them.

I just bought the 6014 tent this week and set it up in the backyard today. The kids are sleeping in the tent right now.

The tent has to be staked which is the most time consuming part and would be the biggest pain if you find yourself on some very hard ground. Other than that it goes up very quickly/easily and can be done by one person.
