Fleetwood is recalling 135 MY 2004-2006 Jamboree GT and Tioga SL 29S model motor homes. The black iron propane plumbing, located under the motor home, may come into contact with chassis components and, under certain conditions, become pinched or crushed. This could lead to a propane gas leak and the potential for an explosion and/or fire. Dealers will inspect and relocate the black iron propane pipe with a kit that provides the components to move the line to the side of the chassis frame rail. The recall is expected to begin on or about June 20, 2008. Owners may contact Fleetwood at 1-800-509-3418. 08V-232I found this here
Now my question is why didn't we get a recall notice from Fleetwood. To date we have still not gotten a recall notice.
While on a trip last year we had to pay to get a problem like this repaired. Thanks to a fellow RVer that smelled the leak.(we thought it was a sewer leak from the coach next to us) If it wasn't for the Good Sam CSP policy we purchased it would have cost us a lot of money. To top it off the RV repair technician said that it was a manufacturers problem. When they put the propaine line in it got bent and pinched. Go figure.

Possibly because your dealer didn't send in your information to Fleetwood. That has happened to me before and I had to correct it myself.

Is your model a Jamboree GT or just a Jamboree. Only the GTs are being recalled.

Because most dealers don't bother to file the paperwork.

t is hard to pinpoint exactly when a problem starts, manufacturer's do recalls with the best guess they can make on when a problem began. It could have been because an operator incorrectly routed the lines, it could have been an engineering change and the initial serial number of the change wasn't correctly recorded.
If you have documentation of the repair send it to Fleetwood with an explanation and your unit's serial number. Hopefully they will check to see if it is outside the recalled units, make adjustments to the recall if it is.

You can go to the Fleetwood site and register your vehicle with them on line. Make sure you have your paperwork handy, and it should only take about 5 minutes to register.

Why don't you ask Fleetwood?
