Yea. I got sucked into a TA one time going through Ohio. Pulled off into a TA and followed their signs directing "RV's" toward the fueling pumps. It ended up being the same congested islands used by the cars. Not a special RV island like Flying J. I was only 32 ft. and without a towed and it was tight getting in and out. Never again. I'll stick with the Flying J's whenever possible. At least I'll have a pretty good idea as to what to expect.

Our trips to and from Florida, we fuel up at just about every one along the way. The new one in Kenly, NC is our favorite.
I wont use them ever again after my last trip... I always use the truck pumps..and ran my FJ RV card thru the reader....then my credit card...and filled up. When I went inside to get my reciept..they had knocked off 7 cents a gallon for me.. I asked about that and they told me it was because I had used the RV card,...and they FORCED me to take the discount.
I told them right there and then that I REFUSE to buy anything that I cant pay at least 10% over "list"..and stomped out of the place...

I don't understand this arizona stuff,we winter there and buy fuel from FJ seems the same as the rest of the of the FJ's , boy was i ever shocked in Indiana. Thought i was getting the cheapest fuel in the US until i went in to pay LOL.

I don't see it as Flying J trying to alienate their RV customers, I see it as a few loudmouths that can't go along with change in today's economy. If businesses are to survive they must change with the times and that is what Flying J is doing. To those that want to bad mouth the company for their actions, I say move on to Love's, TA or Pilot, then you will know what alienating an RV customer is, as they don't want our business.

Me too. The TA near where we're camped in NJ (I295 exit 18) has this nice welcome sign over the entrance to the truck pumps: "Commercial drivers only." And their store ain't so hot either.

toban is really going to like this info: Bot only will you need a Flying J credit card to get the cash price in the truck lanes as a Canadian he is not eligible for that card. But they are working on a card for Canadians.
