What have you done to your MH that you just have to go ,
why did it take so long to figure that one out?
For me it was traveling down to Houston in the summer, 112 degrees with the dogs and trying to keep them and coach cool. In normal temps my dash air cools the coach comfortably if I close the pocket door mid ship. Wasn't happening in the 112 temps.
After about 4 days in that sweltering heat I was washing the windshield when I looked up at the cab over.
I bought a truck folding reflective sun shade and placed it over the cabover window on the inside. Just adding that dropped the temps inside my MH substanially. No wonder the dogs were cooking up there!

So how did the dog meat taste?
My main one was the Maxxair vents, keep them open all the time.

If only the lil yappers had enough meat on them to make it worthwhile cooking them.
In anticipation of my scheduled trip to Houston again, and advice from the forum members I added a MaxxairTurbo fan also. Great advice. We should all be set for our next trek down to the Hotland!

After two Class B's with the Fantastic Fan vents (which I respect very highly), I finally got wise and spec'd the Tiger with a MaxxFan vent. Why? Because it can stay open 24/7, in all weather (OK, haven't tried it in a blizzard ) without getting water in the RV. Stored, or driving or camping in the rain, it's awfully nice to be able to have a little air circulation. This should not be confused with either the vent covers or the big bulky fixed-position vent that they have. Closed, it's quite unobtrusive. Open, it's still pretty sleek.

I second the Maxxair vents. They make a big difference in both coolness and freshness by being able to keep them open all the time even when it rains.
Shade tarps and big clips so you can attach to your awning and move as the sun moves - increases your shade time.
Tension bars inside refrigerator to trap food on racks instead of food leaping out when you open the door after a long, bumpy, or turny trip.

Dishwasher! Wife loves it. When she's happy, I'm happy.
It's a Fisher-Paykel, made in New Zealand. Depending on the setting, it can take as little as 2 gallons. It is a drawer type, and the same size as a propane oven. Not as big as the one at home, but works quieter.

I added a tank of gas to mine. It was pretty expensive, but with the addition of gas, I was able to go various places in the MH instead of letting sit at home.
The XM radio was a nice addition , too.
