I have a quick connect outlet for propane on my Class A and recently purchased a Weber Baby Q 100 grill. Does anyone know where I can find a hose that will allow me to connect to the grill and to the quick connect propane fitting?
Thank you.

Do a search on Weber Q. i think you need to do something with the regulator to make it adaptable.

The quick connect on the motor home may be low pressure???????? The Baby Q needs high pressure. Any connection needs to be made just after the tank before the low pressure regulator.

The quick disconnect IS low pressure. The Q IS high pressure. A deluxe extend-a-stay with the 12' hose for high pressure devices will do it. The extend-a-stay connector goes between the tank valve and the RV pressure regulator. I have that on my coach and use the 1 lb tanks anyway because they are handier.

Your quick connect is probably on the high pressure side. Is it between the tank and the regulator? If so, its high pressure. Suggest you go to a business that specializes in propane grills, appliances etc. I've bought these several times and found that things tend not to go together as simply as you'd like them to. Dealing with a shop that specializes in propane will avoid lots of frustration.

javaseuf wrote: Well, since you mentioned a quick disconnect, this would indicate a low-pressure quick disconnect fitting since Marshall Brass Extend-A-Flows don't have quick disconnects and don't come installed from the factory and since you didn't install anything between the tank and regulator.
Only on the older tent trailers have I seen a factory supplied high-pressure quick disconnect.
The internal regulator on the Q series of grills is removeable. This will then allow you to get the proper fittings and hose to use the grill on low pressure.
The quick disconnect and hose are available from RV dealers under the Mr. Heater brand and the other needed brass pipe fittings are available at Lowes. Been here and done that!

No, all quick disconnects are low pressure (always). They are not rated for high pressure.
High pressure connections use the 1 lb bottle "Coleman" type of screw on connection (always).
If you see any different, then some Bozo who knows nothing about propane re-did the connections himself (DANGEROUS!!! ).
If you REMOVE the regulator on the Baby-Q and replace it with a quick-disconnect, you can use it on low pressure, BUT you can no longer use it on high pressure (unless you replace the regulator). It's one or the other. I got this info direct from Weber. They are actually considering making a conversion kit for it so we don't have to go out hunting for various fittings.
