not only hiding the word games but after hiding a dozen or so members in the ATC forum the ATC has become more interesting and informative. Stopped lots of the mindless back and fort jabber that bored folks get going. The feature would have been nice especially with the political/religeous post we used to have. But their gone now thank goodness and hopefully won't come back.

I'll try not to take that personally.

It's too bad we can't hide "our" posts from certain members, kind of like block a member in reverse. he he he

I don't have anyone blocked but I'm sure I on someone's list. he he he And just for the information, if a member is on the block list and that member starts a topic, then another member adds a reply, will that topic show up or will the entire topic be blocked or only the comment by the blocked member? I'm not talking about "hiding" that topic.

Preacher, he is referring to some post long before your time here. You just wouldn't believe some of the stuff that use to go on here. Believe me, it is better that you didn't see some of them.

I understand how to hide the individual threads - on "General Topics" My question is - is there a way to just go straight to the General Topics of ATC - as opposed to going to ATC first and then having to click on the General Topics - in other words can one block out the Humor, Sports, Chats, etc subsections of ATC - and just subscribe to General Topics alone. I went to My Forums and it allows you to block a Forum - but when you go to "Discussions" it only seems to allow one to block out ATC altogether - not any of the sub-sections. Am I missing something that could eliminate that extra step? Not that it is that big of a deal. Just wondering.

After much time and careful consideration, I too finally blocked a certain member's posts and threads - and that has made a tremendous difference in my enjoyment of the whole forum, not just ATC.

I have found "most all" of the members' posts to be enligthening and enjoyable, and would have to struggle to come up with more than the one that I finally blocked. That, I think speaks volumes for the kind of people that RV for their pleasure.

If you use the following link as a shortcut, it will take you directly to the general subforum of ATC.

So does that mean have only 2 or 3 threads showing on your screen right about now?

Oh we have it..... but if we used it our mailbox would be flooded with members alerting us to the 'no no' types of posts and that would be more work than the status quo.
