Has anyone ever had a Acme nut start leaking on a propane tank pigtail?I have one that is leaking when you move the hose the least amount.I checked the threads and all looks good.Thanks

Had one start leaking on our home grill. Never could get it to stop even moving hose around. I had an extra Acme nut where I'd changed over some fish cookers to POL because of setup at football field concession stand. The new one didn't leak so I chunked the leaky one.

it,s not the thread that is the problem. There is a brass seat or a rubber seal inside that is not sealing.

It could be the nut,....as the nut-seat could be damaged. Otherwise it would be a defective seal/plunger conglomeration that is inside the OPD tank valves. If that is the case, the valve has to be replaced, because the parts inside are not servicable.
