Looking at the spec sheet, my one BIG concern would be the CCC of that unit, as it is setting on a W-24 chassis, and the size along with 3 large slides would make me very leery of the CCC and handling. Also, our 2000 gas class A and our 2003 DP Fleetwoods, leaked like a sieve around the slides, so I would want a leak test done in my presence, before I purchased.

Ditto that. We took one for a test drive and when they pulled in the slide....my husband got doused sitting in the drivers seat. This happened here in So. Calif. The dealer said it was condensation. ?????
That may or may not mean anything. Water can pond on top of the slide, when you bring it in it dumps off. Friend has a Dolphin with no cover on the slide, after some rain he brought the slide in and it dumped water on his head. But there were no and still aren't any leaks when then slide is open or closed.

Had a deposit on one last fall until I drove it. Front end swayed to much for me side to side and that was with only 1/4 tank of gas and the coach was empty. Nice floor plan but a little long for the chassis it is built on. They should have thought about putting it on the UFO platform. It's best you drive it for yourself and make the decision as you will be the one to have to contend with it. JMHO

Most times with a Bounder you get a lot for your dollar. The Bounder line has a large following and their own user group on Yahoo. As mentioned earlier they usually have a 5,000 - 6,000 pound CCC which is typical of gas MH's, so if you are planning on pulling a large toad it may not be possible. I would go to the Bounder user group on Yahoo and ask members their opinion, remember they may be a little biased but, will tell you of their problems and dislikes.

5000-6000lb CCC?

We have a 07 Bounder 38P and absolutely love it. I can tell you from experience here in Northern Ontario that it handles extremely well. I am not an experienced Class A driver and have had no problems driving it. Drove across Mackinaw Bridge in Michigan a month ago during one heck of a wind storm and had no problems at all. We love the floor plan and looking at the 09 models I have not found anything that can compare to what you get in this model.

We have in ours a Workhorse Chassis, all slides have toppers, a two step awning (not electric) have read some of the horror stories with those so I'm happy with the one we have; Satellite (not in motion); full body paint in Bahama Blue; washer dryer all in one; regular dinette (wished I could have had the U Shape - not avail in Canada unless preorder) 3 TV's Upfront 27" mid coach 32" and 20" in bedroom. We have added 2 RV 360 vents and also vent covers over the fantastic fans. The only things I have found that it does not have that would add in is Central Vac - can get it but piping it would be a lot of work and cost due to the opposing living room slides and the exterior compartments. Chose a compact central vac from Intellivac Design - works great. Also I would like to add the remote for the Onan. Would be much nicer to push a button to turn off generator at night rather than getting out of bed and going up front to turn it off.

Only issues were minor - trouble with a toilet leak which turned out to be the seal and also not being screwed all the way to the floor; drawers under the dinette were not opening well - dealer corrected immediately and the interior trim above the kitchen slide came part way off - air nailer fixed that.

We travel with no less than 4 up to 8 people at any given time traveling for stock car racing and it has been into some pretty nasty back roads and has handled very well. No one bumps into anyone. Sleeping 6 is not a problem but 4 is best. Since June 07 we have put 13,000 kilometers on her and the generator is sitting at about 560 right now. Our last big trip last month was 1250 kilometers to Wisconsin and back and we averaged 63-65 mph and got about 8 mpg. Thought it would have been a lot less. We have gotten better mileage since we broke the 10,000 kilometer mark. Also our CCC is around the 2700 mark and we have it full and have not even come close to it. Also we tow a Suburban and the towing capacity of the W24 is rated for 6000 lbs.

Best move we ever made. If you have any other questions feel free to email me with them, would be happy to help.

Good Luck!!!

Go for it as you see I have one. You don't have to worry about Fleetwood not making good on all that may need fixing after purchase. I have had 3 Bounders and they have stepped up to the plate on every single item, not flinching once. On each one almost every item was identified after purchase with total satisfaction. The one thing I would recommend is having the back of the refrig modified to current Fleetwood standards if not already done before taking posession. They did mine after taking ownership and a tremendous difference in cooling. You can PM me anytime.

We have a 38P Pace Arrow on a W24, 8.1 engin. The only thing I don't care for is the vacuum toilet, it maske a LOT of noise outside of the MH and the vacuum pump is something else to replace. Other than this we love the coach. We went from a fiver to the MH. It is soo much easier to travel in. You'll love it.
