Anyone have any experience with the Maxxair or Maxxair-II. They seem like a good idea but I’ve not spoken to anyone who uses them. I’m going to the Oregon coast in a couple of weeks and these sound like a good way to get some air circulation without worrying about rain getting in the TT. I think I’ll give the Maxxair-II a try but was looking for comments from those who have used these.

Yep, we've got 2 Maxxair vents installed on our trailer. They've be up there for going on two years. DW did our installation, it took her about an hour. (I'm not allowed on the roof due to bad knees.) We love our vent covers, we don't have to worry about rain coming in.

We have two on our TT, installed by the dealer. They allow you to keep the vents open regardless of weather. I left the vents open a couple inches all winter to allow the trailer to breathe, and never saw any indication of leaks. They also let you keep the vents open while on the road so it's not so stuffy when you arrive. I'd highly recommend them.

I recently purchased and installed a Maxxair II on our TT. It is just as good as everyone on the forum will say they are.(that's how I learned about them) You can leave the vent open when travelling with no risk of damage or loss. You can leave it open in the rain and none gets in the RV. My vent stays open all the time now, unless it's cold where we are camping. Stays open when stored.
Easy to install, and well worth the price. Have heard of NO negatives.

I've had them on several RVs without any leaks. A friend had them on his trailer with the open end facing strong wind-driven rain and nothing got inside. They're well worth the money.

Have the MaxxAir Fan/Mate Model 800 and a MaxxAir Vent cover - no issues at all. Most common brand of covers I see on rigs these days...

My TT has three vents and three different style MaxxAir covers. All work very well! The only time the vents are closed is when the A/C is running. No rain has ever come in. We even had a downpour yesterday that my Weather program said that rain was coming down at a rate of 18" per hour! No water in the TT with all three vents open!
