Just purchased a 93 fleetwood trailer. We had a very large rain storm today so i decided to check trailer for leaks. I discovered a decent leak coming in the ac panel. Its a Coleman model 7330-730, controlled by thermostat.I climbed up and looked to see just how tough it would be to repair, and i just cant see how to seal it up short of pulling ac unit off. I would really appreciate any advice.

Pull the inside panel off and look up in there. There should be 4 bolts or nuts. These are probably loose. Just tighten these, they compress the seal, this should stop your leak.

Just a thought, that gasket/seal might need replacing after all those years.

Loosen the 4 bolts the previous poster mentioned, unplug the elec.. wires and lift the AC unit off. You will see a rubber seal that probably needs replacing. Clean the area under the seal real good, as well as the AC, and replace the seal with a new one.

Tightened up the 4 bolts(they were fairly loose). Sprayed water and she's still leaking.Possibly a bad gasket?

A trip to your dealer or call to Camping World or Dyers or other online retailer would probably be a good bet...

Sometimes the roof will sag a bit after years of use... When you install the new gasket make sure the roof hasn't sagged and formed a low sop... The AC unit should sit on top of the crowned roof...
