My Challenger does the same thing. I have to extend the gear all the way to level in my driveway. Once I get it off the hitch, I take my time bringing it up to level. Make sure the battery is fully charged. Run it in short (15 sec) bursts. Let it rest when the wires/moter get hot.
When our landing gear was replaced on our 3612, we found the wire from the switch to the motor had be installed with ungauged wire. They upgraded ours to the proper size at the time of repair. Have not had a problem.
It has been fine since landing gear replacement in Nov.(they said they replaced the motor & one of the legs) just this last trip the acted up, was over 10 fuses to do their job i think thats a problem. We will check the wiring we thought of that right inside the battery compartment looked ok but will start going up the line if thats all ok what should we check for after that?
