Is there anyone that has suggestions and or the best way to run 2 Rivel griddles without contantly tripping breakers? Every year we attempt to use the 2 griddles we find out one is not working due to a tripped breaker. Is there any way or mod that will get around us tripping breaker constantly?

Run off of 2 circuts, if you are in a RV park run a extenstion cord to your plug in post and run a extenstion cord from the 20 amp receptical do the same if you are at home, your electrical system in your RV won't run 2 griddles at the same time,,,,,,

Yep, that's exactly what we do if we've got a lot of electrical draw. We run one appliance off an extension cord hooked up directly to the "post". The other appliance we plug into the trailer. We never have problems with breakers tripping. We also turn off the electricity to our water heater when using appliances with a heavy current draw.

As for the reason: Even though the service is 30 amps in just about 100% of RV's with 30 amp service all the outlets are on one 15 amp circuit breaker. Two of the griddles will draw more than 15 amps.
Normally the second 20 amp circuit breaker is reserved for A/C use.
Folding (PU) trailers have a separate 20 amp outlet off the 20 amp circuit breaker that the A/C cord plugs into. So if you don't use the A/C then you can plug the second griddle into that outlet and both will work off the single shore power connection.
We've had outlets installed in a lot of RV's with 30 amp service to use the 20 amp circuit when not using the A/C. Such as during colder weather so you can use two space heaters without a separate hookup.
We also then can use the shore power 20 amp outlet with an extension cord and actually get 45 amps.

we do what Bearnkat said, one off the trailer and one off the post via extension cord. We do our cooking outside so this is easy to do. If you are trying to do it inside the trailer, you will trip the breaker! My trailer does not like to run the griddle and my wife's hair dryer at the same time either, so I run the extension cord from the post for cooking and other such items outside.

Won't help. As soon as you put something on the first one to cook the temp drops and it will draw the amps.
The controls aren't a rheostat. They sense temp and if it's below the set point you get full draw until the temp is reached. No way to keep one off and the other one on during cooking.

My friend camps with a propane griddle. (I think its Coleman.) Its Teflon coated and works just like an electric one.

I don't use one much, but he cooks most of his meals on it.

Maybe one electric and one propane? The extra propane connections might be a pain, but so are extra extension cords. Also, what happens when you end up in a campground without an extra outlet?

I use a griddle that goes over two of the stovetop burners.

Ok so if we are running our TT with the AC on. How do we set it up to not trip? We are not cooking in the TT its out on the picnic tables. Do we have to run one off an extension cord to the post...and turn off the A/C? Or can we run A/c and power a griddle off the TT also?
