Our two sons grew up camping in a 26' TT which we had for 25yrs. Now that they are on their own we just last year got a 31' TT so I say get whatever floats your boat, fits your needs, and are happy with.

So far, we still enjoy our 21'. 2 adults, 2 young teens. Yes, a bigger bathroom would be FANTASTIC, and a separate "master bedroom" would be nice, but we seem to get along just fine. Plus, from what I can tell, when we drop our dinette to make a bed, it seems to be larger than most "queen" size beds in other trailers.

I did just have to "upsize" to a 4 door truck from an extended cab, though. The payments for that will keep me from thinking about another big purchase for awhile..

See you on the road!

We downsized from a 3-slide 5ver to a 31ft 2-slide lightweight TT. I feel our new TT is perfect for our size family, but like others have said, I don't think we would enjoy anything smaller. Certainly we could get by with a smaller unit, but I go camping for the enjoyment and I like the extra room (especially on those rainy days). We enjoy the outside as much as anyone, but we also like to sit inside the A/C and enjoy movies with the surround sound.

We just nbought our first. Have had two trips and going this weekend. With just the DW and Iand wanting to come in under Sorento towing capacity we looked hard. Finally found the very clean 1988 Komfort in my profile. Has everything we need. Put on scales last weekend and she goes 2340 exactly with our stuff in it. 1950 without. And being smaller in frontal size it fits nice behind Sorento for easy pull and probably decent mileage. I am 6'2" 240 and fit fine. Makes me wonder why they dont make them like this anymore? New ones dont come near my weight and all present a much greater wind resistence problem. But who knows, maybe gas prices will impact the engineering... my unit would quite easily serve a young family of four.

I just decided to go small on the TV and get a decent sized TT. 17ft Truck to a 25ft TT, pulled by a V6.

It only matters to the individual using it. What makes some happy does not make others. For us it has to be the biggest and roominess that we can afford. WE spend a lot of time outside but when you have to be in we don't want to be on top of each other. With kids and a large dog it is all about being comfortable.
I saw a very large fiver last year with 4 slides! Soooooooo NICE!About 4 years ago we saw a class C 32 ft with 3 slides. We have yet to see another but that was nice too.

18' used to a decent sized trailer. At 25' we are still one of the smallest in any private cg. Funny thing, though,go to a state park or forest service cg and there are a lot of smaller one as wells as campers and tents!

We were up at the lake a couple of weeks ago...our 21' was about the smallest thing there. One PU, all the others were 30' and better. Funny to think a 21 is small... We needed the room for us, the cats and a bed that one of us didn't have to crawl over to get into or out of. The walk around queen bed is just like home (complete with the cats sleeping on it...)

I have the 14 foot Fun Finder -- great for two people, if one of them is 5 foot tall! Easy to park, to tow, to hitch, to clean . . . .

We are headed out in a few minutes to Eastern Sierras, boondocking. Gotta go!
