Has anyone used the dealership, Metro RV in So Calif., to sell your rv? They say they will guarantee us a certain amount for ours. It would be nice not to have to worry about selling it ourselves and let them handle it. If we are guaranteed a price....why not? We would like to make a decision by this weekend. Thanks!

It's a very dinky dealership. If you haven't, I'd suggest visiting them before you decide to do anything.

I drive by the dealership in Santa Ana every day. I don't know if that is their only site or not. Until about a month ago the place was jammed with all kinds of RV's. Now all I see are a few trailers and 5'ers. The sign changed to trailer consignment. So I don't know what is up with that.

I've used their Burbank location for service for years (Jessie will take good care of your RV). That location is not good for anyone driving by and seeing RVs to buy.

And it is not as dinky as it used to be.

If they guarantee you a price, just have them give you a check for that amount if you're satisfied with the price!

How about that lot just south of you in Thousand Oaks, just off the 101, that has units for sale by owners?
I went in there once on a Saturday and the place was loaded with people looking at RV's.

Per the Orange County Better Business Bureau they rate it a D..."We have enough concerns about this company (for example, their offer, customer complaints, advertising, etc.) that we recommend caution in doing business with this company." Mostly for unresolved issues or failure to deliver on promised goods or services.

We used the Auto Trader's "RV Trader magazine". They have a deal of $54.00 "run the ad till it sells", not a bad deal!

Yes. We are very familiar with that lot. Great visibility. We will be putting the rv in there this weekend for the 3rd and final time. We've purchased another motorhome and take delivery on Sunday. That's why we are feeling a crunch to get it moved even if it's over to a dealers lot.

A check would be nice but we have a feeling there aren't a lot of people that can write a check just like that. It may take dealer financing.

Thanks everyone.
