I travelled last Friday from Denver to Omaha for a wedding, and I would say I saw at least 15-20 Prevosts on I-80 (heading West as I was heading East). Then, on Monday when I was travelling back, I saw probably 25-30 on I-80 heading East (I was heading west back home). Was there some kind of Prevost convention going on somewhere? Or was it just that there were alot of Prevost's running around? I have never seen so many in one day in my life. Just curious.

The ones that can afford a few million for a new Prevost are the ones who can afford the rediculas price of fuel. With all the RVs not on the road, they have the whole place to themselves...

NHRA was in Seattle this past weekend... drivers and owners coaches. Must be nice!

Nah! I think it's just that us Bounder owners (mine's a '97 34V) just drool over Prevost more than the average bear

It was probably a club event. There might have been older Prevosts, which are not all that pricey to buy.

The coaches that go to the NHRA races are not on the road on a Friday because the races start on Fridays. The motorhomes usually arrive at the track on Wed or Thursday morning. And after the Denver race they go to Seattle the next weekend and then immediately to Sonoma California for the race this weekend. They will not leave the racetrack until Sunday night at the earliest.

And while you do see a few Prevost motorhomes at the NHRA races there are actually not all that many.

We're at a park in Ohio and there are nearly a dozen Monaco Dynasty and HR Navigators surrounding us. Some sort of golf thing going on nearby apparently. Seems golf pros like MH's.

Hey, last Fall I even saw one in a borrow pit, almost on its side while driving east on I-40 in Eastern Arkansas--even had a teenager trying to crawl out one of the side windows! Now that was a sight to behold--a million dollars worth of wrecked coach--had my interest wondering how that little incident was going to ruin some insurance agent's loss ratio.

As I have posted before, the bulk of the Prevost you see are probably entertainer coaches. There are hundreds of them based in Nashville. I drive one of them part time. We usually go out on Thursday night and have shows on Friday and Saturday nights and then head back to Nashville after the Saturday night shows. That would explain the west bounds at the end of the week and the east bounds on Sunday/Monday. It is not unusual to go to Denver etc for shows.

I am not sure why, but we have seen most of the Prevost motorhomes traveling at night - sneaking around, of course
