I have a 1999 F-250 V-10 with standard mirrors and I (we) dealership CAN'T find any to slip on? They had a pair that said for a ford 1998 -2003 just slip on and tighten the screw...it wasn't even close. Don't want one that looks like i got it at a garage sale but looks nice. Any suggestions would help....

There have been a lot of good reviews on this forum of the Schefenacker TTT mirrors.

A bit pricey but you get what you pay for when it comes to articles hanging off the side of your truck facing strong head winds.

I put those same mirrors on my GMC and very happy. I would recommend them and very easy to install.

Why not buy some of the ford super duty tow mirrors off of ebay?

Bruce,

Does the stock mirror on your truck look like this?

I bought a pair of Super Duty Power Mirrors on the internet. You take your stock mirrors off and mount the new ones in there place. One of the best things that
I have bought for my Truck. The head of the mirrow slides out for towing. Easy
install once I found out how to take the door panel off.

CIPA custom molded slip on mirrors work well and are inexpensive. I have a pair on my Chevy 2500HD and am very pleased with them. They were recommended to me by others here on rv.net. They don't vibrate like a lot of snap on or clip on mirrors do.

I got that photo at the CIPA site and wanted to verify that it matched your mirrors. It is the picture that CIPA says your truck OEM mirror is.

This model 11900 fits your truck: Click Here $48.40 per pair and free shipping ...

Dennis,
Those look just like the ones the dealer had and we couldn't get them on? It said for Ford 150-250 1998-04? Don't know what the problem was? All I know was that we couldn't slid em on , i think they have have a knob on the back to tighten it, also?
