Howdy, All
After Hurricane Dolly barely missed us here in Corpus Christi, I've decided to purchase a small generator for boondocking, and also to run my refrigerator at home in case tne next storm is not so forgiving.
Several Forum posters have recommended Wise Sales as a good source for the little Honda. Their price is $869.99 plus $10.00 for insurance. Many eBay sellers are lower in price, but charge considerably more for shipping.
Does anyone know of any super-duper deals going on right now for these units? I'd sure like to save a few bucks....every $5.00 is another gallon of Diesel!

if you have a united rentals store close by, call them. no shipping with them also. at least the Pasco Washington store doesn't charge for shipping. And they work on them if necessary.

I just bought the 2000i at Wise Equipment for $869.99 plus 15.00 for insurance. I thought it was a good price because I didn't have to pay tax or shipping. I think I received it in 3 days. Good luck finding it cheaper.

Hi Doc
If you are concerned about power during storm blackouts, maybe you should consider a 3000 in order to run your RV air conditioner. When I lived in Louisiana we retreated to our 5er after huricanes when the power was out, sometimes for days .... a real lifesaver in that heat & humidity.
Also, Wise Sales ships free and fast.

That is the best price I've ever seen on eu2000. The shipping to my house is $24. The total price is $95 lower than lowest that I've seen.
