I have a Jayco Qwest 12A foldng trailer with a Centurion 3000 model CS1200 power converter . My problem is when conected to 110V power (from my house using extension cord) I get power to all 110V recepticals but no power for my 12V lights inside the trailer. When I attach a fully charged batery to the system then I get lights. The battery charge drops after a while then I lose lights even though I'm still contected to the house. I assume that the converter is not converting the power to 12V's nor charging my battery. All fuses are checked and okay. Nothing looks fried or out of place.
Any Ideas anyone? A dealer near me said it's fried without looking at it and wants $400 to replace it, (even if I do replace it he won't be getting my business).
Thanks to anyone who has the time to help.

I wish I had a dollar for every Centurion converter problem I've worked on over the years.
Not the best converter.
If it were me I'd drop the folks at Best Converter an email or a call. They are experts and won't steer you wrong. Not to mention they'll charge you a heck of a lot less for a better converter that will be an easy DIY replacement that fits the current location if it does need replacing.

Even if JFG's link test fails it doesn't mean the converter is "bad". Centurions have a small 7.5 amp Buss fuse actually on the circuit board that's designed to protect th converter board from reverse polarity (hooking the battery up backwards). One touch backwards and the fuse blows. Problem is it also has a habit of blowing for no apparent reason. I used to carry a box of them for folks...LOL
It's on the board itself so you have to open up the case to find it.
Also the Centurions have minimal battery charging ability. They rely on just the normal use voltage, rather than having a dedicated battery charging stage, which isn't enough to fully charge the battery.

Good advice given above. A quick (temporary) fix would be to use your battery charger as a converter. Simply attach it to your battery and plug it into the 110v service along with your regular trailer cord.

Great help from everyone, when the thunderstorms stop here in Ontario I'll go out and do the check. I have checked the reverse polarity fuse (6amp in my case) and it looks fine. The real issue I have is that the converter isn't converting 120v to 12v. I think I'll forgo the whole converter issue and just bring my battery charger like OnaQuest suggested.
Thamks for everyones time.
