My youngest brother just moved to Monument, Co. After being born and raised in the Houston area, we love Colorado. Now he is always calling me telling me how beautiful it is there...and INDEED it is!! BUT, I can't wait til winter time and the snow is butt deep to a giraffe!! I'll be calling him then asking how he likes the shoveling!!

Well, since your subject is winter reservations, I think sirdrakejr was making a joke on coming to a warm weather climate. However I could be wrong.

You'll be fine in AJ. There are also some great golf courses on that side of town if you enjoy the sport.

BTW, where you staying?

We stayed the last 2 winters in Gold Canyon just east of AJ and really love the Resort and the area. Close enough to the city but out of the hustle and traffic. Prior to that we did 2 winters in Yuma, a little warmer but not as much to do and the Sonora desert is much pretty around AJ.
