One of the best consequences of truck camping is getting to know a lot of super people. Today we had a visit from Rob and Jayne (Family Times) who were headed home after a visit to Nova Scotia. Thanks for the drop in and you are welcome to come back anytime. Now you know where the hookups are! Thanks for running your water pump. We thought ours was extra noisy but actually it is quieter then yours.

Are others of you blessed with visits from folks met here on RV.NET?

Unfortunely I've yet to meet anyone from the Truck Camper Forum, I did take a look at your travel blog, we did several NP first part of June '08 in Utah and I have to agree with you that Capitol Reef is a beautiful NP.

Well, I don't know if I'd call it being BLESSED, but I did have Sleepy over.

Also had TCBob over recently.

I have a thread I'll bump one last time that has a list of members that have an open invite for other members to stay in thier driveway.

Any member wanting to be added to the list, I need--

Hi Annne and Joe, first of all, I'd like to thank you for your posting of your
wonderful trip this spring/summer. We just got back from Newfoundland/NS and
can't wait to hit the trail again...this time to Campobello/Lubec.

Yes, we've had the pleasure of making good friends through the RV.net forums.
Danny and Shula Oren from Israel stored their rig in our yard for the
winter and we are expecting them again this winter. We joined them in NL and
hope to spend some time with them in PEI on their return trip. Maybe at that
time we will be able to meet Little Kopit which will be great. It's nice
to meet friends that you almost feel you know. Even though they are pulling
one of those 5th wheel thingies, and we are TC'ers, we still have fun.

Went to the Southern Comfort TC rally last fall in Georgia. Went for a ride on Jeeper92's pontoon. Sat by Love2skiskys's campfire in the rain sipping on Coronas. Truck campers are the best people. My drive way is open with power, water, and sewer for all RV Net truck campers.

We have met several people from on here in person over the years.

My out-of-the-way location makes it kind of rare though.

...same here; we're a bit off the trail, too. However, interestingly, we have the largest TC dealers in Quebec (3 of 'em) within 15-minutes drive of us

We hope to attend a rally later this fall if all the cards line up!

Cheers,
Silver-

We have had the pleasure of having Paula and Jerry (JerBear) stay in our driveway overnight on their way to Mexico. We hope they will stop again next year... maybe for a little longer this time.

PS - you can read about Paula and Jerrys Mexico trip on Truck Camper Magazine.. really interesting stories and beautiful picture too.

Not anyone from here, but I have had 4-5 people from a Dodge site (www.ramchargercentral.com) I am on stop in. One came from VA to get my truck, one from Maine has been here a few times and the more "local" (CT/Ma/NY) stop in here and there if they are in the area.
