DH lost his boats, boat houses and fishing/hunting camp to Katrina.

Rather than replace/rebuild the camp, we bought a MH. Now, we travel all over to fish and hunt. It is a blend of a mobile camp for DH camp and a pied a' terre for me.

My coach is my hobby. When not using and that's more than I like, I'm always messing with it, adjusting, waxing and such. Kinda like when I had motorcycles. But when we have time we're going down to our campsite for the weekend, we do several Nascar Races a year, we'll do a KountryStar rally this fall at the Hershey RV Show, and of course, being in Central PA and about 12 miles from Beaver Stadium, we're at all the Penn State home football games. And this evening will be headed south to Myrtle Beach, SC for two weeks, staying at Pirateland. So I guess you could say we're using it ok for still working. But I will tell you it's a hobby and in no way can I justify the cost of RV-ing other than hobby and a way of life at this time. Love it, and hope to do a lot more in about 6 yrs.

1st I wanted to say Hi to RV 42 and fordsooperdootydieselsmoker since we're neighbors. We also live a few blocks from D-Land.

Anyway, we've used our 2008 Discovery 40X so far to camp at Newport Dunes a few times as it is local and we are doing our New Coach shake down runs before we do some serious traveling. We are planning a Yellowstone trip in Sept of this year. We also plan on hitting as many of America's Wilderness destinations as posible in the next couple years.

Use mine for fishing trips to Corpus and Port Aransas. Try to go monthly depending on our work schedule.
