Good topic. I've been contemplating for months whether or not to get some toppers for my 2 slides. Three factors are keeping me from doing so. 1)The A&E has terrible reviews on Camping World's website, 2)the really nice ones would cost me a fortune, and 3)wind & rain seem to be issues with any of them. My guess is that a disconnect would be as inconvenient as bringing the slide in or doing the beachball trick.

Since we don't camp under too many trees, I may just skip the toppers altogether.

I have always had A&Es with no problem. what was the issue on the CW site?

My original slide topper was/is A&E. Only lasted 11 years. I just replaced the fabric (deluxe heavy) for $150. I guess I wasted my money. I hate when that happens.

You're right, 2 reviews would not sway my decision either. I don't understand it, there used to be something like 150 reviews and the overwhelming majority of them were negative. Guess CW made a liar out of me.........
