I am looking at a 1976 American Clipper for my kids to share for vacations. It is on a Dodge chassis with a 360cid motor and torgueflite trans 120,000 miles on it but only 40,000 on mopar replacement motor and serviced trans. All appls. work plus a roof AC. The dash air is there but not working (R-12 is probably gone will have to update to R-134a or replacement. The tires are 9 years old so I know they will have to be replaced. I am very familiar with Ford and GM class C chassis but not Dodge. What should I look for or pay special attention to as I check this thing out? I seem to remember something about the hydro-boost brakes being something of a headache/nightmare. Thanks, Marty
Personally, I think they would be much better off with a 1996 Southwind Storm! You know everything works and it's closer than Portland!
