Im looking to purchase a new water pump for my Jayco TT. I have the stock water pump now and it is way to loud for me... I was looking to get info and prices on what the good and quiet pumps are out there on the market. I looked through the forums but couldnt find anything. Thanks in advance!

Lots of people like the Shurflo 5.7 Extreme.

I bought the Sensor 5.7 and I'm very happy with it. It's quiet because it runs at varying speeds depending on demand. If your just washing dishes or your hands it run super slow. Multiple things running at the same time causes it to run harder but it's still more quiet than normal pumps.

We use the Shurflo 4.0 Extreme and have found it to be excellent. The 5.7 is an overkill, IMHO, as your RV supply lines can not supply that volume to the fixtures. Also the Shurflo 3 year warranty is solid. Ours broke(my fault) after 2 1/2 years and they exchanged it on the spot, no questions asked.

If your water pump noise is coming from water lines drumming against walls and cabinets, replacing the pump is not always a complete fix. Try to isolate and quiet line vibrations, before jumping into a pump replacement.

Agreed. The noise is probably from the pump shaking the pipes.
That said, there is no good 'aftermarket' pump. Shurflo is by far the leader in the industry in these come stock in most (all?) RVs. They have different models, though, and the 'stock' version is usually not their best.

I'll third the suggestion to check waterlines. I thought ours was sooo loooud!!! I was considering a replacement. Then I ran out of water at a campground that was not supposed to be a dry camp, but was. The pump kept running, but was almost silent!. I discovered that the water lines are not really held down in many places, so I either attached the line, or wrapped it with some cut up scraps of cloth and zip tied it, voila!! My pump is inside the undersink cabinet, and it is easy for a loos bottle or what not to roll up against it and then it makes a racket too.

In addition to checking the water lines, make sure you have flexible hoses on the inlet and outlet of the water pump. These hoses should bend at least 90 degrees, or loop so that vibration doesn't get to the water lines. On ours, the factory tightened down the mounting screws thruogh the rubber grommets too tight and they lost all their flex. The screw heads should just touch the rubber and barely compress it. Finally, make sure whatever the pump is mounted on doesn't act like a drumhead.
