We have seen these at several campgrounds and was wondering if anybody out there has a pattern for them? I would like to build on for our camper.

I don't have plans for one, but I have one that I can send pictures and measurements of if that would help you. Looks like it would be easy to build.

It's very simple. I made one for us several years ago and am about to build another one. You just take 3" toilet flange for the base, 3" to a 2" reducer, 2" piece of pipe for what ever height you choose, a pole mount light fixture, a 3 wire extention cord (male plug on one end) and wire the other into the light. If you want to have a flag or sign on your light, you can use a 2" T with a 2" to a 1" reducer, then a short piece of 1" pipe with a cap. You can put S hooks on the 1" piece and hang a sign or a flag. Before you paint it, use sandpaper to rough up the surface. We use tent stakes to anchor it to keep it from falling over.

I made one for myself and a friend. Don't have pictures but it is built just as Silver said. I used 3" pipe instead of 2". You an buy it precut at Lowe's or Home Depot in 4' sections for the vertical. Just the right length. Had a local sign shop make a 2 sided sign with our names, city and state.

I built mine just like silverthunderroad05 did. Except I used two T's. One arm displays our sign. The other arm on opposite side and a little lower displays a flag or orniment for the season. Used a screw in photo cell in the light socket that turns the light on at dusk. Handy to see key hole in door when coming back from shopping and eating out after dark.
On our first trip in 2003 we saw one in a campground in Pigeon Forge. I walked over and talked to the guy that had it and looked it over real good. Went home and made one.
