Go to the Teton forum on Yahoo and they have an update of coaches planned/offered for 2009. They are offering a 32 footer once again that will be less expensive but still retain the Teton quality.
One other thing - Teton began building RVs due to the demand from folkes that had previously used or had knowledge of their oil field units. The OF units were all season insulated and there you are.

While we had the teton tour I asked if Lippert makes their frames since the frames weren't on the tour. No but we use Lippert slides and then make them stronger for the teton was the answer.

I have been very pleased with my Aspen. You're right about the chassis. I went in and added electrical to an island I ordered after the fact from Teton and had to open up the underbelly to access the floor. i have to tell you, I want Teton to build me a house - the quality of materials and attention to detail just beneath the floor nearly matched what was above the floor. The chassis was flat out crazy over-built. I've been told a few times, and really do believe it, Teton constructs their fifth wheels to be re-built, not discarded.

On task with my original post, I was informed from my dealer today that the 2009s have a new paint scheme, a new 42" standard LCD TV in the living room, new decors, new trim options, and no Dometic appliances. Apparently, they've had a falling-out with Dometic. For floorplans, the only new ones in the Royal and Experience are a new quad-slide Aspen and 1 1/2 bath Scottsdale.

Supposedly production times range from 150 days to 270 days depending on the vehicle. Ouch.

Wow, I may have to look at the '09s We are so happy with ours that we never thought of trading, but OMG one of the decals is peeling

I do like the bath/laundry change they made last year It was just not worth another 50 K to change....

The DW & I are camping at Sevierville TN for a week, Riverside RV Park and there are two beautiful Teton's parked here, both have been towed with HDT's. Teton has to be near, or at the top of the list when it comes to quality AND great looking 5er's...a "bit out of my price- range", but maybe one day...I do love my HR, BUT, it "ain't" in the Teton's ball park.

Econometrics, we are leaving early for the Teton Club National Rally in SD that starts September 21st. Gustav is helping us leave early.
A dealer always brings some new trailers for the rally. Last year at the National rally there were three new trailers and all were sold before the rally was over. I will take the tour again this year and post what I see. Also looking forward to hearing from the Teton CEO on what is going on at the factory.
I talked to another Teton owner this week and he confirmed how busy the factory was. They had wanted to go to the factory after this year’s rally and get some custom work done on their fifth wheel. They were told it would be next year before a slot opened up.

DianneOK, sorry about one of your decals. If you come to the rally the factory workers will fix it free. The factory always sends techs to the rally and they fix any minor problems free of charge no matter how old your Teton is. We have nearly a month to find something wrong on our 04.

NC Hauler, A friend of mine is at Sevierville now. He has a 45-ft Teton Reliance. His rig is mauve in color. He has three satellite dishes on the roof. He pulls the trailer with a Freightliner Century painted the same color. Not sure if he is in the same park as you, but if you see him tell James hello.

Since the down turn in the RV industry, I would say Teton is building what is selling. I'm sure the oil companys are buying. GBY....

Terry, he's here. I spoke with him yesterday, complimenting him on his "combo". Totally awesome looking 5er & towing rig...he's also towing a "toad" behind the 5er. When I see him, I'll tell him you said "hello". (small world, isn't it).
