Make sure you are going to www.rvnetwork.com. If you were a member before, you'll need to log on and check the lost password to get a new one, etc.

They are up and running and everything is fine at headquarters. A lot of tree damage and several people who own lots in the area have home/RV damage from falling limbs/trees because of the storm.

The last time I talked to anyone in Livingston, they were still running on generators and the forum server and website server were running on different circuits. It's possible for one to be up and the other not.

From the pictures that I have seen, there is a tremendous amount of damage from blown down trees. Personally we have damage to our MH from a 75' tall hickory tree, that just grazed the front corner, cracked windshield, damaged front cap, and awnings torn off. We have three fallen trees in our backyard, one of which is laying on our shed with no reported damage. It's a mess, for sure. It is tough for us, because of other commitments, we can't get back to the house for another month at least.

BarbaraOK, I have clicked on the "we've moved the forum" page and I have clicked from the Escapees.com home page and I have typed in www.rvnetwork.com. None work. I get a "network timed out" error page. Perhaps whoever provides the service is tight on bandwidth and I can't get there. Then again, at 8:40 AM Eastern time on a Saturday, you wouldn't think it would be a busy time. I have tried IE and Firefox. I have tried different computers and different internet connections. I did get it just now for a second. Then I couldn't get it. But I went back and used a link from the history in my browser and it connected even though the escapees page wouldn't work. I get the Escapees.com home page lickitysplit and you would think the link from there would work, but it doesn't. Oh well, maybe next week we will try some more and in the mean time get some stuff done rather than frittering away time on the internet. Maybe the site looks for a cookie or something that isn't there and gives priority access based on that or some kind of other techie thing on the forum site. Sorry for the babble.

Because the "Escapees" and forum web hosts are on separate computers, that run on different electrical circuits, it is quite possible that one or the other isn't powered up at any given point in time. Both operate independently and one could be without power when you try to access it.

Haven't been able to get on the forum for 5 days now. Comes up with "cannot display the webpage". I get the starter page, but the problem is when I click on the forum's link.

I followed the instructions for getting a new password, but no e-mail back from Escapees, so I am not able to get on the site either. Said e-mail might take up to 10 minutes, but it's been almost 24 hours now.

The text link "www.rvnetwork.com" didn't work for me either. However, the actual IP address does. Try this link:

Hope this helps.
