Amazing!
Half the posters say sales are booming, the other half say sales are low.
Who is right?
Seems to me that if sales were as great as some would like us to believe, we would not have manufacturers closing their doors.
Those same manufactures seemed to be doing OK a couple of years ago!

That has to be the most annoying thing that I've experienced lately. My son and I spend some time touring rail fan sites in Pennsylvania in August and found that I could not let the truck get below half a tank if I wanted to avoid 'the swipes'. At least one independent near Binghamton, NY set his max at $100.

I had a dealer in Chattanooga, TN tell me he sells on average 92 units a month.
I'm sure a salesman would not stretch the truth....would he?

I stopped at the Camping World store in Orlando Sunday afternoon, on the way home from a weekend at Fort Wilderness, to pick up a new vent cover. Noticed that they no longer had a full parking lot of new RVs as they had on my last visit in April of this year. Don't know who the dealer was that had the inventory at the store but it was nice to have all the parking spaces back.
Have any of you noticed that when stopping at an RV dealer, you almost feel like a piece of raw meat being pulled through a school of piranhas. Do believe if I was in RV sales I would be looking for a new career about now.
However this would be a great time to buy the RV of your dreams, if you can afford the future costs of it.

Rving was meant to done with disposable income I thought. I could never see using my home equity to by a toy. But that's just me. I took a ten year loan on my fiver and we paid it off in 2 years. But now someone seems to have disposed of a lot my disposable income. Ouch.

I was looking forward to retirement because they said I'd be on a fixed income.
But I've found my income hasn't been fixed. Still broken.
