Finally after saving and saving we've finally purchased a 2003 Dodge 3500 diesel! With about 70,000 miles. We only need to pay it off the owner doesn't want it anymore he's done fulltiming! What a blessing. Friends of ours who are fulltimers know him and told us about it. We're preparing for my retirement in July 2009! Wow what a relief I've been searching and searching actullly driving my DH crazy. What an upgrade from our 1988 GMC Suburban that gets 7 MPH we're going to get twice the mileage Yeah!.

Thanks for all your posts about TV's it sure helped.

Thanks! I haven't even seen it yet! The DH say's it's everything I was looking for and that I'll love it! I believe him. I'm sure I will because it's big enough to tow our TT! I was alway's white knuckle with the Suburban. The DH says the 'burb' was fine but it always seemed to me to be struggling.

Hi Sheila,

That 03 Dodge is barely broke in. You got a great deal and will certainly love towing with it. You'll have to keep looking in the mirror to see if the TT is there.

Congrats. As stated, it is barely broken in. My 04.5 is less than 1500 miles short of 70,000. While I have a little more power yours will get better mileage. You will really enjoy towing with it.

Congratulations!
We bought our 2003, 3500 new in Albuquerque. It is getting close to 100,000 Trouble Free miles. Keep the speed down and you will be impressed by the fuel economy.

Dang Sheila, I think I felt that way when i bit into the sister in law's bananna pudding yesterday.

I been wishing for two years that I had a gasser rather than the 7.3 diesel.
