I am always trying to figure out how to use something in the RV. Wondering if anyone else has found non RV items that work very well in their RV?

I have a regular B&D coffee maker velcro'd to the counter top(it hasn't moved), it has a thermos pot that rides in the sink.

Been thinking of picking up some swim pool noodles to slice and cover the windshield wipers when not on the road. Has anyone tried this?

Wood clothes pens attached at the gutter drip to direct the water a few inches off the side of the MH.

Just wondering what some of you more experienced folks have come up with. Please share with the rest of us.

Have a wonderful day!

I use the orange swim noodles on the bottom of the two slides on ours in case I come up to quikly when getting something from the storage bins.
The wiper idea seems like a good one.

For the windshield wipers, I use the black 3/4inch pipe insulation, for any building supply store, cost was 27 cents per wiper.

In addition to whatever you choose to cover the blades, add a tennis ball under the arm of each wiper to keep the blades off the windshield.

Same here.
I also use a block of Styrofoam under each wiper arm, to take all the pressure off the blades.

We use a small wooden folding table from our deck at home. Works great as a portable night stand or wherever we need it.

We also use an 'ultra-bright' table lamp for DH so he can read, as the TT lights are never bright enough.

Bought 2 square Ottomans that double as an end table when you turn the lid over. They also are hollow so they can be used for extra storage.

We'd be lost without our toaster oven. Use it for breakfast and often for dinner.

I have a lot of "House" stuff in the MH, Toaster oven, Bread Maker, Slow Cookers, Folding tables, Two or three coffee makers. and I don't know what all else. I mean the difference between a motor home and a stick house is.... The foundation has wheels!!!!
