Geeze...the OP provided some info that maybe some folks would be interested in. Why all the dumping on him/her?

I was not dumping on the O/P I was dumping on the produce designer who clearly left out the volt-meter

I do agree, easy to add, Very easy to add, And I have the skills

Now if only it were a 50 amp unit

(My long term plan involves lying on the restroom floor for a while again (NOTE: this is where one has to be to work on the shore power systems in my rig) and hooking up a set of four voltmeters

1: Shore power L1
2: Shore power L2
3: ATS out L1
4: ATS out l2

Ammeters, if I add 'em, will be on the ATS l1 and l2 lines

I don't see any dumping-on, nor cranky posters.

The OP offered one (good) suggestion, and others followed with additional suggestions.

Take any and all suggestions you like. There's more than one way to skin this cat.

I didn't take "Electricity 101" in college so can someone help me with my missing class?

There are several referenced postings about this unit not showing "volts".

However, just to the right of each of the 2 units displayed are the words "VDC" and "VAC".

What am I missing ?
