We just arrived home from a wonderful weekend of friends family and hot air balloons. It is a weekend of dry camping with about 125 other RV. in an open field about 1 mile from the Glens Falls airport in at foot of the great Adirondack mountains. We could not of asked for better weather or better company. The field over looks the runways so you get a great view of the balloons lifting off. If you choose you can take the trolley down get right in the middle of the action. We even had a few balloons take off in the RV field. It is one of the best camping experiences you could have. Another thing is it's nice to see so many families in one area with the same interest. The total balloon count was about 90 or so. If any one is interested we would love have you come and enjoy a weekend of camping balloons and family activities.
http://www.northeasthotairrvers.org/ for info and Pics. I will post a few when I get a chance.

The kids (including me!) enjoyed looking at those. I've never seen Balloons in those shapes before.

Thanks for the pics!

I was wondering if you would be able to give us some information about where you camped for the balloon festival and how much it was? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

We were in the area about 2 years ago and had no idea this was going on. We went had a wonderful time. That year the weather was great so it really was an unbelievable site. We went up in one in the Sedonia area one yr and had a great experience. Glad you had a great time.
