I can't imagine ever being without a clothes washer and dryer. I have 110 AC units for both and can run them off of my inverter, generator, or shore power.

I do more laundry in the 5th wheel than I do at the sticks and bricks.

My wife uses our Combo all the time. In fact we were talking today and figured we knock $5 off the camping fee each time she does a couple of loads. We've been gone for two weeks as of today and she hasn't been to laundry yet. She loves it.

Use the combo unit all the time. Store the dirty clothes in it then wash them. The next coach will have stackable units.

We have the 2000s on our boat and in our MH and love it. Matter of fact we are washing right now on the boat as we had our home flooded from IKE, and are living on our boat until we get some electric. You just have to do more and smaller loads.

We have the combo,.I like ours the wife hates it. She says the clothes come out to wrinkled and she has sensitive skin, so can't use the softner. I mostly use it for socks and shorts.

We use ours, but they do have their limits. But they do come in handy and would not have a coach without one. We do have the combo together in one Splendide 2100. I have heard that the stackable are very good. Maybe on our next coach.

We use ours a lot. We rarely dry camp, if we do we don't use it then.

We use our 2100 about every other day (for one load) and I figure on this past four month long Alaska trip, we saved over 200 bucks in laundry machine costs alone....maybe more. I can remember in our TT that we had to spend half a day at least once a week at a laundry. Most of the laundry mats were dirty and typically had people who weren't all that clean either hanging around....hated that.

Yep... great invention.

We have the Splendide Ariston model stacked units. We use them all winter in the south and find them a real asset. We wash about every 3 or 4 days and the loads are a bit smaller than in the units in the stick house. The dryer uses 115 VAC but will dry a normal load in 50 minutes. We run both units at the same time and have never had a problem. The dryer is vented to the outside. Wouldn't be without these appliances in another coach.

We have a Splendide 2100S. DW was dubious at first but is now a believer. We use ours for everything except the bedspread and dog beds. If we dry camp for a week then we hit a laundromat to get caught up.

You see how many pets are traveling in RV's but they wash their pets bedding in the laundramat and then you come along and wash your clothes in the same machine. That should answer your question about getting your own machine.
