Hi.
Yes, I registered a few weeks ago. It is a nice website. Great discussions and reading suggestions. They also do book club reading and discussion. Authors come on and talk with members. Pretty cool!
I'm curious to know if any other B&N forum members, when logged in, see their computer setting/address or other personal information or if only the logged on member sees this and that info. is not displayed to other forum members.
Sounds confusing, I know , but I've never seen this kind of information displayed when logged on to any forum before, and want to make sure I'm not missing something in the way of security measures, either when logging in, or if there is a problem with my computer settings.
I don't feel comfortable logging in without knowing if that information is safe or not, so am hoping a trusted RV.Netter has the scoop on this kind of thing.

I just registered so I will let you know once I get my confirmation email. As a guest I couldn't see anything personal about anyone.
I did go and post and see nothing about myself.

It's cool that you registered. You're sure to have a great time in the discussions.
Thank you for letting me know that you didn't see anything personal showing.
Did you post yet? If you have, could you click on your username on the post and see if any computer info. shows then? If I remember correctly, that is when it showed up for me. Thanks again .
