This is a shot in the dark question but sometimes someone will spark a thought. The 2006 Beaver 4 slide (new to us) has been working out great for us. Have not been able to put my finger on a LOUD knocking under the passenger seat (surrounding) area and toward the middle of the floor. Knocking is prevalent on some of the slightest bumps in a road driving slow (20 +) fast (55-). The noise is more of a deep knock than a rattle or squeek. We crawled/layed on the floor as well as placing our hands in various areas attempting to isolate. Also sat down in the lowest step area. Thoughts are ... a shock, loose floor or slide out step. Have crawled under (while parked) with flashlight touching and feeling anything within reach. Can't eyeball a thing that would be a-knocking. As a kid .... way back when, a knocking noise could be a bad shock .... before I begin the $$$$ witch hunt I thought I'd ask the experts .... get out your shot gun guys. Thanks. Tom

After I replaced my shocks on my F-250, I had a similar knocking noise. The shocks felt tight, but I had to tighten them up even more and it resolved the knocking noise. Might be a good first step and I know it is an annoying noise.

If you have dual wheels on the back check for a rock between the wheels, as I have heard of that doing that,

What about an exhaust pipe of muffler having a loose hanger and vibrating upwards to hit the floorboards?
Does it make any difference if you are on or off the throttle? That is, does backing off or stepping on it change the condition?

I assume you have power jacks.
Try raising the front wheels off the ground and do some checking then for loose suspension items and, perhaps, a loose wheel but that would be pretty far fetched.

Our last motor home had a weird knock coming from somewhere under the drivers seat. Never did figure it out, but it was kind of annoying. The new coach is as quiet as a mouse. Yea, right. How about the electric steps. Maybe it's out of adjustment. Just a thought.

UPDATE:
Kevin my DH,
You forgot the knocking we had on CA highway 299 in our new motor home. The knocking was also under the coach and could be heard through the floor.
After parking for the evening, we found that there was oil leaking on the front passenger wheel. Winnebago (still under warranty) told us to have our brand new coach towed to Redding 50 miles over Buckhorn Pass. OH NO!
We contacted the wonderful folks at Four Wheel Drive in Redding, CA. (An authorized Workhorse Dealer). From our description, they advised that the problem was most likely a leaky bushing and if the front wheel was not loose, we could probably drive slowly to their establishment. So we did.
When we arrived, they fixed the leak in the front bushing and checked all the bushings for leaks. They also safety checked the coach and checked the under carriage for any more possible problems. The staff at Four Wheel Drive were wonderful and worked on our coach the same day as not to cause us further delay.

What about a mud flap flopping or a compartment door that needs tightening up.
Sometimes a noise produced can come from somewhere other than where you can feel it or think its comming from.
Our M/H has a valve rocker arm rattle sometimes from the right side of the engine & when you walk outside from the rear of the M/H up to the front on the left side, about half way up it sounds like the noise is comming from the muffler underneath the coach, but I know its a rocker arm.

If you have steel rims with chrome caps, check the hub caps. They might be loose and they do make a knocking sound. Also check your tie rods, had a thumping sound on my pickup that I could not track down. I took it to a wheel alienment place and they replaced the tie rods. I was shocked when they showed them to me how worn the joints were. Noise disappeared after they changed them.
