I own a Subaru 4300is. The only negative is weight. It has electric start hour voltage/meter. The 4300is is a quiet inverter type genset. It is a nice unit. Robins is no slouch or cheap noisy import. They have been around and have a god reputation and service network. This unit is comparable to any Honda or Yamaha.
Costco has a great price on that unit. If you are in the market and can deal with the weight. Buy it! That is a super price!
Trust me just turn the key and it hums…………..

Mike

Unbelieveable !!!

If I weren't broke right now, I'd throw away my Yamaha EF 2800i and buy one of these.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

That is a great deal! Is a remote control available?

It says it doesn't include the battery, is it an internal mounted battery? The weight given doesn't include the battery or the 25 lbs. of fuel. 24" height makes it a tight fit in the truck bed under the 5th wheel.

My Honda eu3000is may be going bye bye if I can get around the height.

I just ordered one! I'm hoping I can adapt the Honda remote control to it.

Weight doesn't mean anything to me as I have a geeky Hydraulic Lift Gate.

I would still take two hondas for camping. It might be a good home unit.

With todays crappy gas I'd go for a propane genset for the homestead.

That's the only reason I've kept my propane Honda EV4010

Thanks! I'm glad you posted the sale. The Honda Eu3000is starts a 15,000 BTU A/C unit but the voltage drops pretty low and my transfer switch sometimes drops off line. I could work around that if this sale didn't come along & save me the trouble.

My only real concern with a larger unit is the fuel consumption, but there may be no difference since it will see a smaller load.
